Problem Summary
The option to save of print a document in .xps format is not available on your computer, because Microsoft XPS Document Writer may be missing after a Windows update, or it may not have been installed. One of the following two steps can help you fix the problem.
Step 1
On Your Keyboard, hit Windows key + R together, enter: optionalfeatures, then click OK
Scroll down the new window, and check to see if “Microsoft XPS Document Writer” exists. If already in the list, but not checked, check the box and click OK.
If it does not exist, follow Step 2 below to re-install Microsoft XPS Document Writer.
Step 2
Go to Search at bottom left corner of your laptop, type “Apps & features“, then click on it.
In the new window under Apps & features, click Manage optional features.
Click “Add a feature“, then look for Microsoft XPS Document Writer, and click the Install button that pops up.
